Description

The U. S. Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal, (ACC-DTA), Detroit Arsenal, MI 48397, has a requirement for the procurement of 278 each Housing Flyers Helmet, (IHU Clear NVG Visor Assembly with NVG Mount), National Stock Number (NSN) 8475-01-533-9581, Part Number IH-005A-00. This requirement also includes 80 each Housing-Flyers Helmets, (IHU Clear NVG Visor Assembly without NVG Mount), NSN 8475-01-533-8120, Part Number IH016A-00 with a 100% option for an additional 80 each. �ACC-DTA intends to award this action on a sole source basis to EFW, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements�.� This requirement will be solicited under W56HZV-20-R-0160 and will result in a firm-fixed-price contract. This synopsis is not a request for competitive quotes, however, all responsible sources that can meet the requirement of this procurement may provide a written capability statement to the Contracting Officer, patricia.pierce3.civ@mail.mil for consideration, no less than 15 days after the published date of this announcement.� Contract award is contemplated for September 2020.
