Description

INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Softeon, Inc., for the Enterprise Logistics Information Technology (ELITE) inventory and distribution system. The purpose of this notice is to inform the commercial market of the Government's intent to make award to Softeon, Inc. Reston, VA for Softeon Software Maintenance.� This requirement will be made on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, �Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement�.� Softeon, Inc. states that it is the sole owner of the rights to sell and license the Softeon Software.� This notice of intent to award should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ) or contract.� Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary.� Responses to the notice of intent to award will not serve as proposals, bids, or offers which could be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.� As such, the Government will not cover any cost for any information or inquiry submitted as a result of this notice. No solicitation package will be issued on FedBizOpps. This notice of intent to conduct a sole source procurement is not a request for quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received no later that August 27, 2020, 10AM EST. Responses shall be submitted to wayne.s.plummer@irs.gov. Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information: The name of your company; Company DUNS No.; POC name and contact information; The specific product(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the items to be included on this order; and, A description of that product(s) and its overall capabilities. It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your ability to provide Elite Software Modules Maintenance. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence of having a product capable of meeting the Government's needs.
