- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Albireo Energy under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsbile Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements to procure a contract for the replacement of current controllers with Alerton controllers and associated equipment located at the FBI Academy, Quantico, VA.� The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, engineering, programming, graphics and start up required to replace the current controllers with Alerton controllers and associated equipment.� Based on extensive market research conducted with knowledgeable individuals in the Government and the related industry, Albireo Energy is the sole provider of their products.� This system has been specifically designed for use at the FBI Academy and supported solely by Albireo Energy with their proprietary hardware and software.� This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� Interested parties are advised that no solicitation document is available for this requirement, however they may identify their interest and capability by submitting a capability statement by 2:00 PM EST, Friday, 21 August 2020.� The capability statement must reference FBI Number DJF-20-2100-PR-0005907.� The capability statement shall be delivered to Chelsea Odham via email at cmodham@fbi.gov.� The Government will not pay for any information received.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.� Telephone requests will not be considered.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
