- Pre-Solicitation Notice On or about 24 AUG 2020, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for �Communications Conduit Installation, Ft Peck Dam�.� The solicitation will close on or about 24 September 2020.�� The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.��� Site Visit: Site Visit details will be provided with the release of the solicitation Project Description:� The contractor shall complete all work as described in the technical plans and specifications. In general, this project will involve installing new duct bank, conduit, and communications cabling between the outside maintenance building and the administration building. The installation will be underground and will require horizontal directional drilling, trenching, and excavation. Before work is started, underground utilities will need to be located via potholing to prevent damage to existing underground infrastructure. The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance.� Estimated Construction Costs: The estimated construction cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.� NAICS Code:� The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 237130 - Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction, with a size standard for Small Business of $36.5M.
