- This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice.� This is NOT a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract.� The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Short Range Recovery (SRR) division is conducting Market Research to identify potential vendors for the manufacture and procurement of Pressure Indicator PN: 64191-204-1 for the USCG MH65E aircraft. Background This requirement is for the fabrication of the USCG MH65D aircraft hydraulic circuit, utilities pressure indicator.� This indicator is required to indicate pressure for the aircraft brake pressure system. The Pressure Indicator is instrumental in allowing the pilot to monitor to the aircrafts brake pressure during taxing or as maybe needed during flight operations for landing. Fabrication of the Pressure Indicator will meet the following criteria and the following general characteristics, The USCG will require one initial first article prototype of the Pressure Indicator for evaluation. After a favorable completion of the form, fit, and function, a follow- on TBD production run may occur. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED INDICATION SCALE RANGE: 0 to 3,500 psi marked in 14-psi increments, current indicator displays PSI X 10 with 0, 70, 140, 210, 280, 350 shown with 04 hash marks in between them. DIMENSIONS INDICATOR FACE:� diameter = 2.25 inch, circumference = 7.065 inch INDICATOR CASE:� cross sectional measurement = 3.04 inch, width = 1.15 in. 04 helicoil mounts in face to accommodate machine screw with a 0.1575 inch thread diameter, 0.0275 in thread pitch, RH direction. CONNECTION UNION: must accommodate connection with 8mm (0.3150 inch) hydraulic line nut.� Location: determined by sample indicator. �Responses should include the following: Name and address of contractor Cage Code Point of contact including name, title, phone, and email address Capability statement to include the lead time for evaluation and repairs and standard warranty included with product State whether the business is OEM certified and if so, provide proof of approval State whether the business is currently classified as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone Small Business, Women Owned, Veteran Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business in terms of the NAICS code 336413 GSA Contract information if applicable and other information that provides the USCG with a more accurate picture of the potential marketplace for this requirement. The NAICS code is 336413 and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees.� � The US Coast Guard does not own or have access to any publications, drawings. Any source material will be solely incumbent on the vendor to locate. � TELEPHONE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses should be submitted to luis.mojica@USCG.mil. � � This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not to be construed as one. Therefore, there will be no evaluation of responses to this RFI for award purposes. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resulting future solicitation where quotes or proposals will be requested. There is no date set for a resulting solicitation or if a solicitation will be issued.� All submitted materials will be designated for Government Use Only. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow up information requests.
