Background: The Neuroimaging Research Branch has the requirement to purchase an MRI compatible eye tracking system. This system must be able to track eye gaze and pupil diameter in an MRI scanner environment and on the bench with identical equipment. The ability to perform eye tracking and pupil diameter measurements while within the MRI environment will provide the ability to measure emotional responding, attentional shifting and other measures of stress while functional MRI (fMRI) data are being acquired during our human research fMRI studies. This enhancement to our MRI system will allow multiple investigators to customize novel experimental paradigms to measure, follow or induce stress, a relevant variable in addiction, which has not been feasible with our current MRI equipment. These tasks will also be performed outside the scanner for training and comparison purposes so the same equipment must be usable in both the MRI and non-MRI environments. This is a new piece of equipment and does not replace current available equipment. Purpose and Objectives: The Neuroimaging Research Branch requires an instrument with the following characteristics: MRI compatible and designed to operate in a 3T Siemens Prisma environment Real-time up sampling Compatible with the Siemens Prisma 20, 32 and 64 channel head coils Include mounting equipment to work with a Cambridge Research Systems BOLDScreen 32 LCD display Battery powered for plug-free operation in an MRI environment Include mounting (and other) equipment to use the same camera in a non-MRI (i.e. desktop) environment Sample eye gaze and pupil size at 2000Hz minimum, 0.15 accuracy and 0.01 RMS resolution Compatible with Psychology Software Tools E-prime Include software for paradigm presentation and analysis of eye tracking data Quantity: One (1) instrument Delivery Date: 60 days after recipt of order Delivery made to the following address: NIH/NIDA 9800 Medical Center Drive, Rm 239A Rockville, MD 20850 301-217-5217 (tel) Warranty: Full warranty to include two (2) years full parts and labor.
