- This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. NAICS Code: 237990. This solicitation, W912P820B0048, is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB).� The resulting contract shall be a firm fixed price (FFP) Contract Award.� Responses are due 09 September 2020 at 10:00am, CST; however, actual date and details�of bid opening��will be eatablished in a future admendment. Due to the COVID-19 environment, Bidders are reminded that Bid Opening is conducted by virtual means. Bid opening submission instructions�are contained in the solicitation document (see Instructions to Bidders). All qualified business concerns may submit offers. Offers from large business firms must comply with FAR 19.7 and FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers FY 20 subcontracting goals are for specified percentages of the contractor's total planned subcontracting amount to be placed with the following: Small Business 44.92%; Small Disadvantaged Business 13.25%; Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business 8.00%; Woman Owned Small Business 7.87%; and HUBZONE Small Business 12.00%. The work consists of removal of material from within the Calcasieu River Ship Channel; satisfactory disposal of the material within the designated Confined Disposal Facilities adjacent to the Calcasieu River and Pass; all as shown on the drawings. Removal of material from within Devil�s Elbow and Cameron Loop is included as Optional Work. The work also includes retention dike construction, surveys, optional ditching and draining of disposal areas, and all operations incidental thereto. The estimated value of this work is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The point of contact for this procurement is Shermeka L.
