Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT. THIS IS NOT A�REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a single source contract under statutory authority 10 USC�2304(c)(1), set forth in FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will�satisfy agency requirements. The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) intends to solicit and award a�single source contract to STRATA Skin Sciences, Inc. for a preventative maintenance agreement on an�XTRAC Ultra Plus Laser System. The proposed contract action is for a firm fixed price service contract�to fulfill this requirement. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of responses to this notice.� A�determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice�is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the�purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated period of�performance for the XTRAC Laser Preventative Maintenance agreement will be for one year, from�1 October 2020 to 30 September 2021. Market research was conducted and shown to support the single�source determination. See attached J&A Single Source Justification for additional information regarding�the single source determination.
