- Description
- Amendment 1 answers questions from potential offerors and makes other changes throughout the solicitation based on those questions and answers. It also makes changes to Sections L and M, Section C, and extends the offer submission deadline. - - - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation under the authority of FAR Part 13.5. The scope of this contract is to create voice controlled applications and the required backed support systems for use of the voice controlled applications on commercially available smart speaker platforms. The application and backend system will work together to provide a turnkey solution for patron access to the NLS talking book collection. The contractor shall provide cloud platform resources and software development services to create application(s) to search the NLS collection, browse the NLS collection, retrieve/manage the patron�s Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) Wishlist, playback NLS talking books (via streaming), and manage the patron�s Bookshelf using a voice only interface on commercially available smart speaker platforms. Resources and applications maintained or created under this contract shall be referred to as the NLS voice interface environment. The contractor will provide cloud resources and software development services that result in the creation of a voice interface environment with application(s) to search the NLS collection, browse the NLS collection, retrieve/manage the patron�s BARD Wishlist, playback NLS talking books (via streaming), and manage the patron�s Bookshelf using a voice only interface on commercially available smart speaker platforms.
