INCL. TUBE 10X, BEAMSPLITTER 50, and PACKI.NON-RETURN.WITHOUT WOOD Basic components: Magnification system: Manual apochromatic magnification changer Eyepieces: 10x, 12.5x wide-field eyepieces; also suitable for eyeglass wearers Tubes: stereo co-objectives.10X tillable tube 0°-180°, f = 170 and 200 mm Focus: f = 250 mm, focusable Illumination system: Halogen illumination Mobility, ADA options for wheelchair users: Mount mobility: 120° coupler Sleeve for push-in eyepiece T-handgrip Floor stand Teaching: Beam splitter 50 Stereo observation Tube PV2 HD video live 1080P Video lens F=60MM with C MOUNT SONY 21"" HD LMD2110MD monitor As the VA San Diego Research group advance their stem cell program to the clinic, to manage this workload, an additional surgical microscope is needed. The new scope must be adjustable to accommodate surgeons that use wheelchairs (the site currently has two wheelchair-utilizing lab members). This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (large business, small business, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.), relative to NAICS code 333314 Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Based on responses to this synopsis, the Government may issue an RFQ. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, August 17, 2020, 4:00PM, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Elaine DiBucci at elaine.dibucci@va.gov and should include company name, address, point of contact, business size, and product information. No telephone responses will be accepted. This notice is to assist the Government in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available.
