NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center Yorktown, VA has a requirement for�Qty (1) Pack OCTANS V Surface Fiber Optics Gyrocompass. To be used to teach the next generation of Electrician�s Mate (EM) in the setup, verification and troubleshooting of service wide equipment and�hereby gives notice 70Z041-20-Q-QW425800 of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source Purchase Order to IXBLUE DEFENSE SYSTEMS Inc., 27 Wellington Rd, Lincoln, Rhode Island 02865-4411, (DUNS Number 138745877, Cage Code: 3MFU2) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for quotation and no solicitation is available.�A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Capability statements received within three (3) calendar days of this announcement may be considered by the Government.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), Monday 17 August 2020, to the point of contact Juan Soto, email juan.a.soto@uscg.mil.� The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.� Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
