- Description
- This requirement is for the following: sequencing reagents kits. Different sequencing reagent kits are needed to enable diverse sequencing methods for a variety of sample types and throughput needs. The sequencing reagent kits provide NCATS scientists a variety of sequencing solutions to assay the genomics and transcriptomic experiments. The 100 cycle kits are suitable for sequencing libraries generated from single cell RNAseq using 10X genomics 3 V3 RNAseq kits and the 300 cycles kits are for bulk RNAseq assays whole genome sequencing and other transcriptomic experiments. NovaSeq sequencing system is designed for large scale experiments and can process up to ~200 samples (bulk RNASeq) and ~40 samples (single cell RNASeq) with the optimal read depth for each type of experiments. The NextSeq sequencing system provides small scale, fast turnaround solution for small scale projects.
