Description

Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), Regional Health Contracting Office-Central,� Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch, Ft. Hood, TX, intends to issue a sole source award to GenProbe for Analyzer, Molecular Testing Equipment with capability of testing FDA approved CT/GC, HPV/HPV Genotype, and Trichomonas vaginalis/Candida/Bacterial vaginosis assays to include the supplies of associated test kits on a monthly recurring basis at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Ft. Hood, TX. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 325413, Computer Systems Design Services. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250.� This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist Shenecqua.n.soares.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
