Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,� as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07. This is a total small business set-aside combined synopsis/solicitation for products as defined herein. The government intends to award a purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337215, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), located in Washington DC, is seeking to purchase freestanding durable, lightweight, clear, commercial grade plexiglass protective shields (no window) with base(s) in accordance with the specifications identified below. No installation by the offeror is required. All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following: Supplies CLIN 0001 Freestanding durable, lightweight, clear, commercial grade plexiglass protective shield (no window) with base(s) to be utilized on flat surfaces including desks, countertops, and tables. Dimensions 30"" wide X 24"" high X 1/4"" thick 425 ea. CLIN 0002 Freestanding durable, lightweight, clear, commercial grade plexiglass protective shield (no window) with base(s) to be utilized on flat surfaces including desks, countertops, and tables. Dimensions 30"" wide X 36"" high X 1/4"" thick 425 ea. CLIN 0003 Freestanding durable, lightweight, clear, commercial grade plexiglass protective shield (no window) with base(s) to be utilized on floors including carpet, tile, wood, and ceramic. Dimensions 30"" wide X 66"" high X 1/4"" thick 50 ea. Delivery Location (FOB Destination) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) Warehouse Attn: Dexter Johnson 8335 Ardwick Ardmore Road Hyattsville, MD 20785 Award will be made to the offeror whose quotation offers the lowest-priced technically acceptable solution (LPTA). Technical Acceptability will be determined by reviewing the offerors quote to ensure the offeror is providing freestanding, durable, lightweight, clear, commercial grade plexiglass protective shields (no window) with base(s) in accordance with the required specifications and delivery date. Offerors shall ensure they provide a draft sketch, drawing, etc. which outlines its proposed design to meet each line item specification. Offerors shall also affirmatively state they will deliver FOB Destination to the EPA warehouse within the delivery date established in the solicitation.
