- Description
- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items,� as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-NIAID-2025741 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-08, effective August 13, 2020. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with size standard of 1000 emp. The requirement is being competed full and open without a small business set-aside. The Research Technologies Branch, Electron Microscopy Unit requests the purchase of a Zeiss BiG.2 Type A non-descanned detector (�NDD�, or external detector) plus corresponding filter sets for the Zeiss LSM 880 confocal microscope at RML.� This component is critical for maximizing collection of photons emitted from the sample in order to perform intravital imaging using the two-photon excitation technique: BiG.2 Type A Module with two GaAsP PMT detectors also usable for FLIM on DC-out port or as NDD Shortpass filter 690+/ d32 Filter set 2 BiG+ blue-green Filter set 3 Big+ cyan-yellow Filter set 4 BiG+ green-red Installation charges Place of Performance: NIH, 903 South 4th Street, Hamilton, MT 59840, United States.� FOB: Destination Please put DUNS# on the quote; Include response to FAR 52.204-26 and FAR 52.204-24 The government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible contractor as a result of this RFQ that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.� The award will be based on the following; technical capability to meet the requirements and price.
