SPECIFICATIONS FOR PERCIVAL TISSUE CULTURE CHAMBER MODEL CU-36L4 1. Intellus� Ultra Control System for temperature and light control � Single board solid state design � 10 key membrane keypad with LED indicators and display � Diurnal, 24 hour, and non-24hr (elapsed time) programming � Programs can be run in ramping or non-ramping modes � Multiple programs may be linked to simulate natural conditions 2. Dimensions: 29.7 cubic foot chamber with 21.6 square foot work area provided over four shelves. Each tier consists of a fixed air diffuser, fixed lampbank and a shelf. This design configuration helps to eliminate water condensation inside the lids of the Petri dishes. Outside Inside (empty chamber) Width: 33.5"" 29.5"" Depth: 33.6"" 29.8"" Height: 77.2"" 58.4"" 3. Four tiers of white epoxy coated steel wire shelving provided. Each tier is 27"" D x 28.8"" W. Growing height is 9.5"" between each tier of shelves and overhead lamps. 4. Interior and exterior of chamber are constructed of 26-gauge and 24-gauge electro-zinc plated steel respectively. Interior floor includes floor drain. Interior and exterior finish consists of white, highly reflective, baked enamel paint finish. Interior floor includes floor drain. 5. All seams and joints on the outer and inner shells are welded for a complete seal. 6. Inner shell is solidly supported by a non-compressing and non thermal conducting material to substantially lock the inner liner in place. 7. Self-contained, air-cooled continuous running hermetic condensing unit is provided to maintain a temperature range of 2�C to 44�C � 0.5�C with lights off and 10�C to 44�C � 0.5�C with lights on. 8. The chamber comes standard with quiet, extended life solenoid valves. 9. High/Low temperature safeties are adjustable, provide visible and audible signals and utilize an independent sensor. 10. Each tier of shelves lighted by SciWhite LED lighting that provide a uniform light intensity throughout the shelf. Light intensity up to 350 micromoles/m2/s @ 6"" from LEDs. - LED lighting standard dimmable by percentage from 10-100% in 1% increments (Extra charge to have lighting dimmable by tier) 11. The chamber design allows Conditioned air to circulate through the rear wall air duct and is picked up by a fixed-air diffuse located at the bottom of each tier. The air is then delivered vertically upward at slow uniform speed to eliminate condensation on petri dish lids. 12. Door opening is 29.3"" W x 57.5"" H with magnetic gasket provides a light tight seal to door frame.
