Email to Jeffrey.Pruett@va.gov, Jeffrey Pruett with 36C24420Q0985 in the email Subject line, no later than 8:00 am August 21th, 2020. STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Contract Title. Council Of Training Hospitals 2. Background. Council Of Training Hospitals is an all-encompassing program for federal hospitals. The positive transformation of practice environments in multiple settings to build global community health care organizations committed to Healthcare excellence. VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a One-year contract from the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) Council Of Training Hospitals Program designation. 3. Scope. AAMC s Council Of Training Hospitals Program office manages and coordinates all aspects of the application and renewal process. This Program designation and membership to be provided for on an annual basis after completion of services and acceptance into the Council Of Training Hospitals program.(COTH). The following five strategic priorities address functional capabilities and work to be performed across the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System Through COTH program: Increase Price Transparency, Develop strategies to promote inclusion in public and private exchanges, Integrating new Medicaid Models, improving value at AMC s and Advancing Graduate Medical Education. Additionally, being a member of COTH would provide the Following: Access to password protected, online databases, forums and comparative reports (e.g., annual faculty salary data, resident salary data, medical student enrollment data, etc.). Ability to name facility representatives to various professional development Groups. Legislative and regulatory monitoring of federal health issues impacting hospital and physician payment, biomedical research, technology, medical education, and the physician workforce. Professional development programs to help members meet their responsibilities as Graduate Medical Education (GME) leaders at the institutional level in the AAMC member medical schools, hospitals, and academic societies. Continuous learning opportunities Subscriptions to publications such as Academic Medicine, and AAMC reporter. 4. Place of Performance. Work for the Council Of Training Hospitals Program will be performed on line meeting format for the executive leadership and medical executive s located at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA. There are no contractor travel requirements. 5. Period of Performance. Period of performance will be for one year beginning 10/1/20 -9/30/21.
