- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order to Web and Writing Solutions Company for IWR EMT Tool Maintenance, Updates and Migration. EMT is made up of two components. Both tools will need to migrate to the Amazon Web Services Cloud Hosting environment plus added functionality of a second tool which must include essential architecture to operate in USACE security requirement and move to a cloud hosting environment to maintain USACE security compliance. No competition is being sought. The work must be done within 12 months and requires detailed knowledge of the current USACE Project Delivery Business Processes, USACE Enterprise Data Warehouse, G-6 IT requirements and industry best practices. Work must be done by one contractor, with detailed understanding and expeditiously. It is essential to maintain established engineering as the capability is developed, to ensure continuous availability, and maintain security compliance as the tool is transferred to the cloud. Period of Performance: 15-Sep-2020-14-Sep-2021. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. A solicitation will not be posted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be sufficient in detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
