Description

This requirement is for specialized resiliency training that will provide an effective, performance-based, mindset training program. This training will be held for Grand Forks AFB and the military personnel who support and execute the mission at the epicenter of space. The intended MindMap training includes a live workshop followed by an individualized 8-week digital training course which caters specifically to each Airman. The course is taught in tandem with one U.S. Olympian and one elite military operator, covering five pillars of mindset and 16 core principles, providing an individual and organization solution to improve decision-making, emotional regulation, and performance. This trains the mind to lean toward positive coping during adversity and challenges as opposed to maladaptive coping. The programs developed by Dr. MacAulay are the first to actively incorporate mindfulness into the Air Force organizational structure. The Warrior's Edge workshops are based in scientific research and has been utilized and tested in alpha competitive environments, similar to those that Airmen can be exposed to daily. The results of the effectiveness of the program will be assessed through the digital course portion of the training.
