Description
INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to CQ Roll Call, Inc., 1201 Pennsylvania Ave. NW FL 6, Washington DC� 20004-2401 for a subscription renewal for CMS�s Office of Communications. The sole source award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 235 ( C ) ( 1 ) as implemented by FAR6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� A justification and approval is currently being processed for this requirement. This requirement is intended as a sole source procurement because CQ Roll Call Inc. is the publisher and copyright holder of CQ Healthbeat.� CQ Healthbeat monitors the pulse of the issues, events and people reshaping national health care policy.� CMS REQUIREMENTS: CQ Healthbeat provides coverage of federal health policy and legislation on regulations, appropriations, news, and hearings that affect the healthcare industry.� It delves in and delivers a comprehensive analysis of CMS rulings and the impact on hospitals, doctors, drug makers, and medical device maker; offers insights into upcoming healthcare bills and policy as the occur on the Hill and highlights pending healthcare legislation and implications for the Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and ACA programs.����� NAICS CODES: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 51110 (Newspaper Publishers) and the size standard is 500 employees. INTERESTED PARTIES: All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to qualify as a potential contractor for this procurement, the organization must provide technical literature describing their capability to effectively satisfy this requirement, as well as terms and conditions and a complete price quote within 15 days of this notice, to the following electronic mail address: phillip.harrell@cms.hhs.gov.
