- ***** This Amendment 0002 to Screening Information Request (SIR) 693KA8-20-R-00014 makes the following revisions:to Section L, paragraph L.8.�***** 1 - Under L.8 TIME, DATE, PLACE, AND SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS, the repetitive subparagraph heading (a) ADDRESS, DATE AND TIME has been removed. 2 - Under L.8 TIME, DATE, PLACE, AND SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS, the following sentence has been revised to provide the 09/02/2020 proposal due date and the 4:30 pm Eastern Time proposal due time to be consistence with the SIR posting on wwww.beta.sam.gov: Proposals must be received by the FAA on 09/02/2020 no later than 4:30 pm Eastern Time through secure electronic submission to Contracting Officer Robert C. Taylor II at robert.c.taylor-ii@faa.gov. 3 - Under L.8 TIME, DATE, PLACE, AND SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS, the following paragraph has been removed because all proposal submissions shall be made electronically through email as required in paragraph L.8 and not as hardcopies: (b) SIGNED ORIGINALS - Offerors must provide one signed original and all required copies. NOTE: Date stamped electronic signatures are acceptable. ***** End of Amendment 0002 Announcement Text ***** ***** This Amendment 0001 to Screening Information Request (SIR) 693KA8-20-R-00014 makes the following revisions:**** 1 - Corrects the block 3 SIR date issued / effective date from 07/20/20 to 07/21/20 to reflect that the later date is the date that the base SIR was posted to https://beta.sam.gov. 2 - Corrects the block 6 Issued By Office from Resource Management Office to AAQ-310 AT Facilities and ATC Technical Training. 3 - Provides revised Sections L and M in order to change the competition from a total small business set-aside to a tiered proposal evaluation with the below tiers listed in descending order of precedence: ���� 1. Scope of Effort: Contract resources are required to provide support for Airway Transportation System Specialists (ATSS) training. The contractor must provide an online mathematics tutoring service to ATSS personnel who require assistance in relearning and understanding the mathematics principles and applications necessary to successfully complete the FAA Mathematics Refresher and Common Principles courses. Contract Type and Period of Performance: This is a total small business setaside.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 611691 -- Exam Preparation and Tutoring with a small business size standard of� $7.5M.� The FAA intends to aware one Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract with a one year base and four, one year options. Instructions to Offerors:� Date, Time and Email Address for Proposal Submissions Proposals must be received by the FAA on 08/19/2020 no later than 4:30 pm Eastern Time through secure electronic submission to Contracting Officer Robert C. Taylor II at robert.c.taylor-ii@faa.gov.� All SIR/RFP Amendments issued, if any, must be signed and submitted with the Offerors proposal.� Offerors assume full responsibility of ensuring that proposals are received at the email address and by the date and time specified above. Mailed or Facsimile submittals of proposals will not be accepted. This SIR/RFP announcement is providing attachments 693KA8-20-R-00014 Sections A through I and K through M.� There are no Section J attachments. Basis of Award: The FAA intends to award one contract to the responsive, responsible Offeror whose proposal represents the lowest-price, technically acceptable offer. Offerors submitting Proprietary Information must label these materials as Source Selection Sensitive. The Government is not liable for costs associated with inquiries or responses to this announcement.
