- This is a sources sought notice; this is neither a solicitation nor a promise of future work. The Coatesville VAMC is seeking SDVOSB/VOSB and any small or large company regardless of Socio-economic category that can provide the requirement as spelled out in the Statement of Work (SOW) below. The veteran business must be registered in SAM and certified in VETBIZ (VIP). The small or large businesses must be registered in SAM. All Vendors interested in, and with the capability and capacity to fulfill this requirement, are required to furnish the following minimum information in reply to the sources sought: Company Name, address, Government Business Point of Contact, telephone number and email address. Company DUNS number, CAGE Code, and Tax ID numbers. Identify any current Federal Supply Schedule, GSA Contracts held, if none then state that no FSS/GSA schedules are held. Certification from the manufacturer that they have given you permission to provide and install any systems or software. Responses shall be submitted electronically, via email to Donna Toliver. Email address is donna.toliver3@va.gov. Responses are due no later than Wednesday 08/26/2020 at 3:00 pm. This requirement is for the purchase, delivery, installation, and configuration of the Cepheid Genexpert XVI (Brand Name Only) at the Coatesville VAMC. See the requirements below. STATEMENT OF NEED Cepheid Covid analyzer The Coatesville VA Medical Center (LVAMC) has a requirement to purchase the GeneXpert XVI R2 16 module configuration along with a printer and power back up UPS. Requirements: Must be able to have random access and perform multiple types of tests such as SARS COV2, FLU, and RSV. The analyzer must be able to handle the need to screen up to 70 to 80 patients in a 10-hour time span. The analyzer must use PCR methodology and have obtained the FDA approval for an EUA for SARS COV2 testing. It will be necessary in the fall and winter months to quickly discern the FLU and other respiratory illness from Covid-19. The cartridge system requires minimal sample preparation and minimizes the chance of cross-reactivity between samples. This cartridge system is safer to use for the operators because of the closed system. Must be able to be interfaced with Data Innovations 1 ea.
