Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b) (1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The Mission Installation Contracting Command intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for D-21 Preventive Maintenance and Inspection (PMI) to Monaco Enterprises Inc. Market research was performed and shown to support the sole source determination. See the attached Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition for additional information regarding the sole source determination. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Comments must be received, in writing, no later than 11:00 am Eastern Time, 27 August 2020.
