- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD. The National Park Service, GOGA MABO Contracting Office intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Bay Cities Refuse Service, Inc., 2525 Garden Tract Rd., Richmond, CA 94801 for SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND REMOVAL AT FORT BAKER (Building 507 and Pier Area), MARIN COUNTY, CA. This service procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111, Solid Waste Collection, with a small business size standard of $41.5 million. Bay Cities Refuse Service, Inc. is the sole company approved for solid waste (collection and removal) in the Marin County area. This service requires collection and removal, and transportation of solid waste to be removed at FORT BAKER, Building 507 and the Pier area. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFROMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The Government intends to award this requirement non-competitively, the statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This award is for one base year and four successive option years. Any information received will be treated as market research information for future same or similar requirements. The National Park Service and Contracting Office reserves the right to pursue the sole source negotiation or to compete the requirement based on information received. Quotations or Proposals received in response to this notice will not be accepted since this synopsis is not a request for quote or a request for proposal.
