Description
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the small business manufacturer, PEVCO SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL, 1401 Tangier Drive, Baltimore, MD, 21220-2876: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 0001 Diverter Upgrades for entire tube system upgrades include new motor with electronic brake proximity position sensors new electronics 1 EA 0002 Blower modernization 3 blowers to receive new electronics 1 EA The Pevco Pneumatic Tube System tube installation/upgrade must be done with Pevco parts and installed by Pevco directly. The whole OKCVA hospital has the Pevco tube system and any new hardware/upgrades installed must be the same brand in order to integrate with the current system. On 07/14/2020, via email, Becky Cateora, PEVCO Director for South Central Region, verified Pevco Parts are the only compatible parts that will work for the tube installation/upgrade requested by OKC VA Medical Center. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 622110 and the Business Size Standard is $41.5M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Friday, August 28th, 2020. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to Lindsey.Zwaagstra@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
