UPDATE 25 Aug 2020: This solicitation has been extended, and quotes are due 26 August at 8:00am MST. Attachments 1, 2,�3 have been updated, and attachment 4 has been added. Everyone who submitted a quote must certify that their offer is still valid, or may submit a new quote.�Please take a look at the new attachments when submitting a new quote or certifying that the old quote is still valid. E-mail all quotes or existing quote certifications to TSgt Burton at jason.burton.5@us.af.mil. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 19 Aug 2020: Due to new Department of Defense requirements, two new provisions and one clause have been added to this solicitation.�All contractors that provided a quote will be e-mailed a copy of the two new provisions to sign and return. All responses must be received before 19 Aug 2020 at 1600 MDT to TSgt Jason Burton, jason.burton.5@us.af.mil. A copy of the provisions and clause has been attached to this solicitation. UPDATE 13�Aug 2020: Several errors were discovered in some of the attachments stating that the work would be performed at both Peterson AFB and Cheyenne Mountain Station. All work for this requirement will be performed at Peterson AFB, CO.�The errors have been corrected and the corrected attachments have been uploaded. A Q&A document has been added as attachment #4, and four photos have been attached. Please submit any questions to TSgt Jason Burton at jason.burton.5@us.af.mil.� ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE�06 Aug 2020: The SOW has been revised and added to this solicitation. These changes are marked in bold font, and include: - Bldg 590 heating water system removed - Bldg 863 heating water system added - Paragraph 2.2 statement added:�Typical unit with features is a Neptune VTFC-2 model.� However, field conditions of existing heating/chilled water supply and return lines shall be verified to determine inlet and outlet setup and requirement for support legs. On your request, please include the following: -How many people will attend in your group. -A driver's license number, state of issuance, date of birth, and full name for each member of your group. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATED 16 July 2020: This solicitation has been extended, (re-solicited) until 14 August 2020�in order to promote competition.� Quotes are due by 14 August 2020 at 4pm MST. Please submit any questions to TSgt Jason Burton at jason.burton.5@us.af.mil.� ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This job consists of� retrofitting heating and chilled water chemical feeders with bypass filter feeders in multiple buildings, in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS) at Peterson AFB, CO. ��As our HVAC systems age, solids (dirt, metals, etc.) in the systems build up over time and filtering out solids will protect equipment in system.� The replacement cartridges can be added to our supply stock and chemical feeder will be included in our HVAC maintenance schedule.� Tasks: - Isolate flow on existing chemical feeder.� Demo and dispose of existing chemical pot feeders at each location.� Typical connection is downstream from the expansion tank in system.� - Provide and install feeder filtration unit at each location.� Unit shall be Neptune VTFC-2 model or approved equal.� Unit features include �� inlet and outlet, filter built in support for cartridge filter, maximum pressure 200 psi, maximum temperature 200 deg F, fill opening 3-1/2� and 2 gallon capacity.� Connect to existing heating/chilled water supply and return lines.� � - Provide all modification to existing piping to make connections for new system functionality including supply inlet and outlet along with piping to drain.�� - Filters shall be the same size for standardization across the projects.�� Provide initial high temperature, 20 micron cartridge filter for each system, and a case of 10 for bench stock.� - Reinsulate reworked piping. This work will be performed for the following buildings on Peterson AFB: Bldg 1 Heating Water System (Escort Required) Bldg 1 Chilled Water System (Escort Required) Bldg 590 Heating Water System Bldg 1030 Heating Water System Bldg 1030 Chilled Water System Bldg 1013 Heating Water System Bldg 1470 Heating Water System (Escort Required) Bldg 1470 Chilled Water System (Escort Required) Bldg 2025 Heating Water System Bldg 2025 Chilled Water System Bldg 218 Heating Water System
