Description: Request for Quote- 15B40320Q00000033 Didactic Training System(s) for Advanced Occupation Training Classes (AOE) FCI Englewood 9595 W. Quincy Ave Littleton, CO 80123 Rachel Brown, r16brown@bop.gov 303-763-4300 ext. 1018 FCI Englewood is seeking three didactic training systems:ï¿½ basic pneumatic systems, basic hydraulic systems, and basic mechanical systems, for an Advanced Occupation Training Class that will lead to a National Institute for Metalworking (NIMS) Certification for graduates. Enclosed is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, and is supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a Request for Quote for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2020-08 by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Englewood (FCI), Littleton, Colorado.ï¿½ This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code for this request for quote is 335999, size standard 500 employees. The Federal Supply Code for this RFQ is 69 - Training Aids and Devices. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please provide a quote for the items listed below by 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST) Friday, August 28, 2020. All questions regarding this Request for Quote are due in writing by 9:00 ï¿½AM MST, Thursday, August 27, 2020. Questions shall be submitted via email to r16brown@bop.gov.ï¿½ We will consider all questions received and provide responses when appropriate. The Government has no obligation to answer any questions received after the due date and time. Quotes are to be emailed in .pdf format only to r16brown@bop.gov and will be deemed received at the time received as indicated on the email notification. A confirming email will be sent when the quotes are received. Faxed or mailed quotes will not be accepted. Emails rejected by filters are not the responsibility of the government.ï¿½ Quotes received after the deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f) This will be a firm-fixed price contract to one vendor with multiple Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) for three training systems.ï¿½ Please provide pricing for each CLIN and total pricing for all CLINï¿½s. All equipment must provide the opportunity for students to master all Level I competencies included on the National Institute for Metalworking (NIMS) performance assessments in Basic Hydraulic Power, Basic Pneumatic power, and Basic Mechanical systems. The bid must also include all tools and accessories necessary to prepare students for these assessments, including the initial supply of at least 10L of hydraulic oil. The academic component must include all the curricula and materials necessary to provide students the opportunity to pass the written NIMS exams for Basic Hydraulic, Basic Pneumatic, and Basic Mechanical systems. The academic component must be deliverable to students without the use of a computer; and the equipment has to be lower than 80 decibels during use. All courses shall include a comprehensive safety course. ï¿½ Please see the attachments for the NIMS requirements (characteristics) for each line item, all line items must meet or exceed the NIMS requirements.ï¿½ The brand name provided is used as an example, but not a requirement for awarding the purchase. The Government will review the lowest priced quote for technical acceptability, for all three systems. All quotes submitted must have specification sheets for all line items, with the submittal. If specification sheets are not included with the quote, it will not be evaluated.ï¿½ If the lowest priced quote is found to be technically acceptable, the Government will not review any other quotes for technical acceptability. If the lowest priced quote is not technically acceptable, the Government will review the next lowest priced quote for acceptability, and if found acceptable, no other quotes will be reviewed. This process will be followed until the Government finds a technically acceptable offer. The Government intends to award without discussions, but reserves the right to enter discussions with offersï¿½ as deemed appropriate by the Contracting Officer.
