- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, NOR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION.� NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION.� PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office Northwest (RCO-NW) located in Twentynine Palms, CA is seeking qualified sources for information and planning purposes only.� It is not to be construed as commitment by the government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract.� The purpose of this request for information is to gain knowledge of commercially available services that may be of interest to the RCO-NW.� Responses are voluntary and the Government will not reimbursement respondents for any expenses associated with their participation to this request, nor any subsequent exchanges.� RCO-NW is performing market research to determine available sources that can provide: This is a non-personal services contract to provide a Commercial Internet Service Provider (C-ISP) as a solution to modernizing the Information System (IS) infrastructure.� Commercial cable and fiber internet services with managed Wi-Fi and security services are needed to meet the intent of the Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC), Deputy Commandant of Information (DCI), Commanding General of Training and Education Command (CG TECOM), and the MCCES Commanding Officer in modernizing the campus by providing a distance learning and blended learning course capability and to increase bandwidth to improve the quality of training provided to students. The Contractor shall provide all non-personal services including all management, supervision, personnel, transportation, tools, materials and other items and services necessary to construct, operate, and maintain reliable Internet to provide dedicated fiber-based Internet connectivity, managed Wi-Fi, and managed security services.� The Contractor will offer a variety of transfer speeds in both cable and fiber optic formats. Email accounts shall not be included or provided with any Government package.� NOTE:� The Performance Work Statement (PWS) provided in this notice is a draft PWS only, and it is subject to change prior to the release of any formal solicitation.
