- The US Coast Guard Office of Procurement & Contracting Miami Detachment (DOL 95) on behalf of U.S. Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg, Florida intends to award a sole source firm fixed price construction purchase order to demolish and replace flood damaged components of the Auxiliary Building at CG Sector St. Petersburg per provide SOW. The contractor shall furnish trained, qualified personnel and any required special tools or equipment necessary to complete any work task which may be issued.� Work tasks may be issued in the following general areas: Auxiliary building located at 1301 Beach Dr. SE ,St Petersburg, FL 33701 Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed above must clearly identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the repairs to the sewage line at the Coast Guard Station to prevent further damage to the system. � The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. SCOPEOFDEMOLITION: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the following unless noted below: 1. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all damaged drywall within the Auxiliary building (Approximately all drywall up 4 feet from the floor) (Approximately 2300 SF). 2. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all damaged baseboards (Approximately 450 linear feet). 3. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all damaged vinyl flooring within the auxiliary building (Approximately 2,300 SF.) 4. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all kitchen cabinetry base cabinets, counter tops, and sink bowl. 5. Contractor shall remove and dispose of the damaged cabinetry, flooring, baseboards and drywall within the male and female restrooms. 6. Contractor shall dehumidify the building to prevent mold growth. 7. Contractor shall vacuum entire area with a HEPA vacuum. 8. Contractor shall apply an anti-microbial agent to all areas of potential mold growth. 9. Contractor shall clean and prepare all areas for new construction materials to be applied. 10. Contractor shall remove all contents of the building that is salvageable and reset in place upon completion of work. Applicable NAICS code:� 562910 Remediation Services.
