****ATTENTION**** Due to overwhelming response, the Global Analytics Platform (GAP) Virtual Industry Day has been moved to October 5 � 9, 2020. ***Registration for this event has closed*** ***If you have already registered, you do not need to re-register for the event***� Details have been updated below. � � I. SUMMARY SOFWERX, in concert with the United States Special Operations Command, Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Center, (USSOCOM SOF AT&L), will host a Global Analytics Platform (GAP) Virtual Industry Day to provide interested parties with an overview of the GAP program. This virtual event is being held to promote specific areas of interest, promote an early exchange of information, and provide an opportunity for both the Government and Industry to gather more information prior to the release of a formal solicitation. � The brief will inform industry of the GAP information system whose purpose is to make data available, useful and insightful.�The briefing will provide an overview of the information system environment for the search, discovery, and collaborative analysis of large volumes of data within a suite of secure web-based applications. The Virtual Industry Day will be unclassified and open to contractor personnel who are U.S. Citizens only. All prospective recipients may be required to submit a proof of eligibility. Offerors who were not able to attend the Virtual Industry Day event may still obtain a copy of the presentation material. �Simply register for the event and slides will be sent out to all who register. II. DATE, LOCATION, AGENDA, REGISTRATION, LOGISTICS WHEN: 5 � 9 October 2020 WHERE: The events will be via video teleconference only (i.e. Federal Zoom). Details will be provided to registered participants. There will not be an in-person brief due to continued public health concerns. SCHEDULE: Tentative Agenda *All sessions will be conducted in the Eastern Time Zone 5 October 0730 � 0800: Zoom log in 0800 � 0810: USSOCOM Welcome Remarks 0810 � 0905: GAP Technology Overview Brief 0905 � 0920: Break 0920 � 1020: Contracting Overview Brief 1020 � 1035: Break 1035 � 1200: General Q&A Session 1200 � 1300: Lunch�(On your Own) 1300 � 1800: One-on-One Sessions with Government Stakeholders 6 - 9 October (one-on-ones only) 0800 � 1730: One-on-One Sessions with Government Stakeholders One-on-one days will be scheduled at the Government�s discretion. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Companies capable and interested in potentially sustaining the GAP program along with the integration and development of program applications. Companies with experience in information system environments that search, discover, and analyze large volumes of data within a suite of secure web-based applications across a multi security cloud architecture are highly desired.� Additionally, companies with experience in, data movement and transport, and data science are also encouraged to attend. EVENT TIMELINE: Phase 1 � 3 August 2020 to 7 August 2020 Registration Opens:�Interested respondents who wish to participate must register per the instructions below NLT 7 August 2020. A request for a one-on-one session can be requested with the registration, if a complete response was provided in reference to the RFI. Note: Those that provide a complete response will be considered for a one-on-one session. Phase 2 � 25 September 2020 to 2 October 2020 One-on-One Notification and Scheduling:�For those that request a one-on-one session and have submitted a complete response to the RFI, then the Government will select from those respondents that have the highest potential to satisfy their technology needs. �Selectees and non-selectees for the one-on-ones will be notified on or about 25 September 2020. Additional event details will be sent out at the same time. Following notification, the one-on-one sessions will be scheduled. Phase 3 � 5 October 2020 to 9 October August 2020 GAP Virtual Industry Day:�During the GAP Industry Day, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Subject Matter Experts, submit questions for the General Q&A Session, and, if desired by the attendee and selected by the Government, be allotted a one-on-one session with the Government team. HOW: *** Registration is closed *** III. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind.� The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any attendee for presentations, marketing efforts, or data offered for examination.
