- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912KC20Q0002�is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08�and Defense Circular Number 20200605. This procurement is being issued as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 333318 with a size standard of 1,000 EMP. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. Location of delivery�will be at the 171st ARW of the PA Air National Guard, Coraopolis (Pittsburgh) PA. CLIN 001: Industrial-Grade Embroidery Machine possessing at a minimum the following salient characteristics: --Compact 15-Needle Sewing Head --Sews�at�1300 Stitches per Minute or Greater --AC Servo Motors --V Pantograph Drive --H Pantograph Drive --Capable of embroidery military uniform nametaps and�thick bags and cases of various sizes, up to and including heavy aircraft life raft storage bags.�� --Machine shall be software-based and software shall be�Tijima- and Windows-10 compatible; an example of such software is made by Wilcom, Inc --Cast-Aluminum�construction or construction of equivalent durability --On-site training included --Local or complementary technical / mechanical support included for minimum of 1 calendar year **For reference purposes only, market research has revealed that the Baruden America Inc. Model�BEXT-S1501CII is considered to be technically acceptable. **� It is the responsibility of the offeror to view the website for any changes or amendments to this RFQ. Quoted item�shall be Buy American Act compliant.� Item shall be in Brand New condition.� Refurbished, Used, and other-than-new items will not be considered.�� To receive an award of contract the offeror must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database which can be accessed at the website https://sam.gov/portal/SAM QUOTES WILL BE EVALUATED ON TECHNICAL ACCEPTABILITY AND LOWEST PRICE Questions from vendors to Contracting Office due: 21�March, 2020�at 12:00 PM EST. Questions will be addressed no later than: 25�March, 2020�at 12:00 PM EST. Quotations due no later than 28�August, 2020�at 3:00 PM EST.
