Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command � New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command � Armament Center intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal to VJ Technologies, Inc. 89 Carlough Road Bohemia, NY 11716-2903 (CAGE Code 0JLW5) pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.5: Exclusive Licensing Agreements for the purchase of a Six (6) Million Electron Volt (MeV) linear accelerator. VJ Technologies, Inc. is the only company that can provide the requested integration with Vi3 software. The resultant contract shall award a firm fixed price contract. The delivery date for this is eight (8) months from date of award. The applicable NAICS code for this effort is: 334516 Analytical Laboratory Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The highest distribution level for this solicitation/contract is: Distribution Statement D. Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFP and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government anticipates an RFP to be posted to beta.SAM.gov on or about 31 August 2020. The proposal submission date will be 7 days after issuance of the RFP W15QKN-20-R-0134, Maintenance and Support of Non-Destructive and Radiographic Testing Equipment.
