Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT.� �Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to: Hexagon US Federal, Inc., 301 Cochran Rd, Huntsville, AL, 35824-1109.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541512 Computer Systems Design Services; the business size standard is $27,500,000. The proposed contract action is for installation of a Consolidated Emergency Response (CERS) Windows 10 Upgrade on Hexagon proprietary systems. The upgrade requires installation of and configuration to highly specialized hardware and software, the foundation of which, Intergraph Computer Aided Dispatch (I/CAD), may only be acquired from the original source.� Hexagon�s proprietary I/CAD software is the only approved Marine Corps CERS 2.0 design. The delivery schedule for the contract is thirty-six months from the date of award. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes it can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. �The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.� If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent, and will not be reimbursed by the Government. �The Government is under no obligation to respond to submissions.
