Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a follow on contract to Entwined Technologies. The proposed contract will provide for continued support and systems administration for DEA COMSEC support services. After giving fair opportunity to eligible firms, Entwined was awarded BPA DJD-14-HQ-S-0018 in September 2014. The final call order on this BPA expires on 8/31/2020. A follow on award is required in the interest of economy and efficiency. This new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order that was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Entwined Technologies under the authority of FAR part 8.405-6, in the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive quotation. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is included with this posting. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) and the Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 million. The Government anticipates the award of a Labor Hours Order. The period of performance will be one-year to allow time to re-compete the follow-on competitive contract. Interested parties may submit capability statements to Sam Clark,sam.clark@gsa.gov if interested in the DEAs follow-on effort under the future Bluestone requirement.
