Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to issue negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) Purchase Order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Services on a sole source basis to Nu Laboratories, a small business, for �services in support of remote testing and evaluation of Salinity System Components. Nu Laboratories has experience working with NSWCPD providing testing services on similar components. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), �Only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements,� NU Laboratories Inc. is NAVY certified laboratory, specialized in Military Environmental Qualifications Compliance testing in EMI, vibration, shock, temperature, noise and other testing protocols. NU Laboratories has demonstrated uniqueness in their testing through the number of equipment tests conducted for NSWCPD for several years. NU Laboratories Inc. has the unique ability to provide engineering assessments and recommendations prior to testing, as well as afford NSWCPD the ability to have all tests done at the same facility. NU Laboratories is a NAVSEA approved facility and several of the systems aboard US NAVY ships were tested by NU Laboratories for environmental compliance.
