Description

Solicitation N6227120Q1160 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for Brand Name or Equivalent to Riegl Unmanned Laser Scanner miniVUX-2UAV and is prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Description of Product / Service: 1.0 Background/Introduction: The Remote Sensing Center at the Naval Postgraduate School seeks a small airborne laser scanner (or Lidar) to use on an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The scanner will support funded research programs in Physics, Oceanography, and Computer Science. This system must be capable of obtaining very high point density point clouds, with the ability to produce accurate Digital Surface Models (DSMs) and Digital Terrain Models (DTMs). 2.0 Minimal Technical Requirements/Salient Characteristics: QTY 1 System that is Brand Name or Equivalent to: Riegl Unmanned Laser Scanner miniVUX-2UAV: integrated system, with laser, IMU/GNSS, camera, control system, processing software, and a complete workflow solution. Formal RFQ attached with minimum technical requirements
