Description: Ansys computational fluid dynamic (CFD) software is the only option for this highly specialized computer program. The program is easy to use unlike other products. The program will be used to model air and contaminant flow for local exhaust ventilation design, air sampler design, and source-receptor modeling in occupational settings. This program is used at NIOSH Pittsburgh Research Laboratory, Pittsburgh Mining Research Division, and Cincinnati sites. Purchasing this software will allow standardization of accomplishing CFD tasks throughout the centers by maintaining consistency of data input, methodology of calculations, and translation of results.
