Sources Sought Notice The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential Small Businesses especially any SDVOSB offerors capable of providing a Penumbra Indigo Mechanical Thrombectomy System as listed in the Statement of Need (See Below) for the VA Western New York Healthcare System in Buffalo, NY 14215. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the Statement of Work (See Below). Responses should include the following information: Business Name Address Business Point of Contact Current Duns Number An Authorized Distributor Letter from the Manufacturer All information is to be submitted via e-mail at Myra.Green2@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 4:00 pm (EST) on 09/07/2020. Statement of Work Client VA Western New York Healthcare System Job Name Penumbra Indigo System Requested by Surgical Department Summary The VA Western New York Healthcare System is in need of a Penumbra Indigo Mechanical Thrombectomy System and associated supplies. This system will be used to remove emboli and thrombi from vessels of the peripheral arterial and venous systems. This is a minimally invasive device which enables the rapid restoration of blood flow in such cases as acute limb ischemia and deep vein thrombosis. Project Scope This SOW covers the following activities and deliverables. The scope of work is the delivery and installation of a quantity of one (1) Penumbra Indigo System for Surgical Department. This system should consist of one (1) Penumbra MAX ENGINE for Indigo® System. Along with the pump, the system should also consist of the following catheters and separators: Two (2) Penumbra ENGINE Canister for Indigo® System One (1) Indigo Separator 12 One (1) Indigo Catheter 12 + Lightning Aspiration Tubing One (1) Indigo Catheter 8 + Lightning Aspiration Tubing Salient Features Simple set-up, portable design Pump MAX is capable of delivering and maintaining nearly pure vacuum (29 inHg or 98.2 kpa) MAX Canister: disposable 1,000 ml canister; includes disposable MAX pump/canister tubing The Indigo System is an integrated system for use only with other components of the Indigo System including Continuous Aspiration Mechanical Thrombectomy Catheters, Separators, aspiration tubing, Pump MAX, and MAX Canister. The Indigo Aspiration System is comprised of several devices: Indigo Mechanical Thrombectomy Catheter Penumbra Pump MAX Indigo Pump/Canister Indigo Aspiration Tubing Indigo Separator End of Document
