- Amendment Notice: Amendment 0001 issued on 8/31/20 provided RFI responses and supplemental project data. Contractors are advised to review all information and acknowledge the amendment when submitting offers.� Previous Description Contents: Site visit to be held on 8/20/20 is limited to two (2) representatives. RFIs are due NLT COB Tuesday, 8/25/20. Pictures and video will be allowed per security protocols and project/building management� discretion.� Building Enclosure and Storm Water Drainage Repairs at the existing�Historic U.S. Bankruptcy Courthouse in downtown Tallahassee, Florida. This project will correct the existing water intrusion issues occurring in the building as well as improving existing building enclosure system for long term performance. Work to include, but not limited to, replacement of existing low slope roof assemblies and flat seam metal roofing, as well repairs to existing historic, steep slope slate tile roofing. New fall protection systems to be provided along with isolated storm drain piping to be replaced at the 2nd floor roof area. Existing historic wood doors and window assemblies are to be restored, repaired, stripped, re-painted, and re-sealed along with incorporating new high-performance perimeter seals for watertight condition. Window and door restoration work to include abatement of existing lead-based paints and glazing compounds. Exterior limestone fa�ade to be cleaned and repaired. Existing 2nd story Portico to receive extensive repairs to existing balustrade along with removal/reinstallation of existing stone flooring to receive new waterproofing. Waterproofing to be provided at several below grade walls in the basement as well as basement lightwell. Exterior enclosure work to also include in place mock-ups as well as third party water testing by GC. Miscellaneous wall and ceiling patch/repair work to occur throughout the�building to accommodate new work. Structural repairs, storm water piping and sump pump work, lighting protection, lead/asbestos abatement and other work to also occur.
