Description: This model of digital pressure gauge from Ashcroft/Heise has already been evaluated by the lab and selected as the replacement for older obsolete analog pressure gauges. Gauges from Omega, Dwyer, Wika, Grainger, and Helicoid were considered, and found to be deficient in features, accuracy, and/or quality. The Ashcroft/Heise digital pressure gauge has already been evaluated and chosen as the new standard pressure gauge to be used in the lab. Once this order is fulfilled, all of the pressure gauges will be the same style and manufacturer. Having all of the same gauges will decrease variability in testing and decrease technician training requirements.
