Description: The Preparatory School is purchasing these cold tubs to replace the ones that were in the athletic training room in the Milazzo Athletic Facility that are unusable due to safety and age. Taking a post-workout plunge in an ice water bath is a common practice among many athletes. Known as cold water immersion or cryotherapy, it is used to recover faster and reduce muscle pain and soreness after intense training sessions or competitions.
