Description
This is a sources sought notice.�� The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) supports multiple entities throughout the Department of� Defense (DoD) by performing weapons testing and procuring test articles for weapons testing. �DTRA�operates in several locations including White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) and Kirtland Air Force�Base (KAFB). �Some of the testing involves batching concrete for test articles. The purpose of this announcement is to identify sources capable of performing the work outlined� herein, in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Description of type of work � Fabricate, deliver and erect concrete batch plant. �Batch plant must� have parts compatible with existing Vince Hagan manufactured batch plant. � New plant must have: �Controls compatible with Command Alkon, Command Batch; a 3 bin 80 ton aggregate hopper; 12 CY� concrete scale; single silo 1000 BBL overhead silo with two compartments that's fly ash capability;� minimum of 8 admixture connections; can produce a minimum of 17 batches per hour; no smaller than a�15 hp water pump ""no water scale""; and power needs to be 208v, 3 phase. Site Work � Remove current Ross batch plant and concrete support slabs. Construct all concrete pads�necessary for the provided plant, perform all ground work necessary to install plant on site,�including drainage and access. Location of work - The potential site is located approximately 20 miles from the base entrance and�the base entrance is located approximately 25 miles from the nearest town. Information requested - Information demonstrating your capability to accomplish the described work.�Information shall include the proposed batch plant design and specifications with evidence of�compatibility with existing system, (Vince Hagan and Command Alkon 870). �A list of any similar�projects completed in the last 5 years; Resumes of key personnel, including, Program Manager (PM), Quality Control (QC), and Safety;� references with knowledge of any similar work performed within the past 5 years. �Submissions shall not exceed 25 pages.� � Please submit responses to anne.m.horstman.civ@mail.mil.� Please include business size under the above NAICS.� This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information submitted in this request.
