- Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NCA), under the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-5(c)(2)(ii) & VAAR 819-7007 is providing notification and justification authority for pending award of solicitation number 36C786-20-R-0089, to Worrell Contracting, P.O. Box 10549, Goldsboro, NC 27532. This is associated with a brief summary of associated work required at Beaufort National Cemetery, located in Beaufort, SC 29902. This acquisition was sole-source and 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business company. The NAICS Code is 561730, Titled Landscaping Services. Business Size Standards - $7.5 million. Nature and/or description of the action being approved. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Contracting Construction Division, intends to negotiate/award a sole source SDVOSB contract of Three-Hundred-Sixty-Five (365) calendar days for the prime contractor to completely follow the plans and specifications provided for prime contractor to install a new and fully functional automated irrigation system inside of Historical wall of Beaufort National Cemetery and after installation of approved new irrigation system the contractor will renovate designated sections of turf (border areas include the area from roadways/fence to interment area) within the historical wall/fence turf areas. The work consists of removing, cleaning, raising, realigning and resetting designated upright headstones and floral vases that are already in place. . End of Document
