- Description
- The 316th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to L3 Harris Technologies in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) Only one responsible source. L3 Harris Technologies, is the only authorized source of proprietary software for Fault Isolation Manuals for the existing 737 Virtual Maintenance Trainer. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 611512 with a size standard of $30M. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice. NOTE: If documents are sent via e-mail, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by contacting the Contract Specialist at antoine.toran.ctr@us.af.mil. No solicitation is available and telephone request for information will not be taken.
