- 1. Purpose THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.� REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.�� The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole-source procurement action to Evergreen Fire and Security for quarterly maintenance and service of an existing access control security system under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1). This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is pursuant to FAR PART 10 in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources to perform install and maintenance support services and determine if this effort can be competitive. �This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research.� No funds are available to fund the information solicited. The Government will use this information to determine the best future acquisition strategy for this procurement.� 2.� Program Information The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, services, and equipment required for monitoring, maintaining, repairing, and installation of all ACS components, Virtual Local Area Network (vLAN) connection and Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) components, including integrated� the Monitor Dynamics (MDI) Access Control System (ACS) components, including Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components, Genetec Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV) System components, at USARAK HQ on JBER and shall include 24/7 phone support. 3. Capabilities Description� The contractor shall be a Genetec and MDI certified dealer and be able to troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace all defective components. Maintain and ensure operability of all equipment associated with the Access Control System in use at JBER. 4.� Required Information a)� The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 561621 , which has a corresponding Size Standard of $22M.� The Government is interested in all businesses to include, Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a)s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses, as well as SB Teams.
