- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons ? Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Landfill services for the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Tucson, located in Tucson, AZ.� It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in the award of a single contract.� The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices.� Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous offer to the Government.� It is estimated there will be approximately 2400 tons per year, with approximately two loads per week.� FCC Tucson will provide containers and the transportation to the landfill, which must be within 20 miles of the Institution.� The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12 month option periods for renewal.� All other requirements will be detailed in the solicitation.� The solicitation will be available on or about September 9, 2020 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.beta.sam.gov.� All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.� Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up?to?date information about this acquisition.� Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.� The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation.� The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about October 16, 2020.� The solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted.� The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 562212 with a size standard of $41.5 million.� All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the SAM database.� The website for registration is www.sam.gov.�� Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
