Description

This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the Deputy Director for Non-Infectious Diseases �(DDNID), National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH).� NCEH has a requirement for Fisher and Thermo Fisher brand-named sample preparation related consumables and chemicals.� These supplies are critical for direct usage during sample preparation procedures for all CLIA regulated projects and methods in analysis of patient samples from studies such as, NHANES and PATH, for assessing and monitoring of population exposure to chemicals within the Protein Biomarker Laboratory and Lipid Reference Laboratory..� The intended recipient of this purchase order is FISHER SCIENTIFIC COMPANY L.L.C. doing business in Hanover Park, Illinois 60133.� This order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice and/or submitting proposals.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive responses; however, all proposals received within 7 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
