Description
This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a Fixed Price Purchase Order to Certara USA, Inc. 9666 Olive Blvd Ste 425, Saint Louis, MO, 63132-3013 on a sole source basis to procure the Certara � Phoenix WinNonlin & NMLE Professional and Academic software platform licenses.� These licenses will be used to perform pharmacokinetic analyses of pre-clinical and clinical study data acquired from bioanalytical analyses conducted and completed in the Cell Processing Research Unit (CPRU) laboratory.� The professional licenses will be used by the principal investigator, and the academic licenses will be provided to all pharmacokinetic research fellows during their training period in the Clinical Pharmacokinetics Research Unit training program.� The software license maintenance contract will cover applications assistance, software updates, and software upgrades for both Phoenix WinNonlin and NMLE platforms.� The Certera � Phoenix WinNonlin & NMLE Professional and Academic software platforms are essential pharmacokinetic modeling software applications for the daily operations of the CPRU lab and training program.� The Certera � Phoenix WinNonlin & NMLE Professional and Academic software platforms facilitate the progress of all ongoing human clinical research studies being conducted in collaboration with NIAID, NIDDK, NHGRI, NCI, and NICHD.in the Pharmacy Department.� The fixed price Purchase Order will be for a base and two (2) twelve month option periods with options for increased quantities, separately priced line items.� This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12 in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements in FAR Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Lisa Schaupp, Contract Specialist, Lisa.Schaupp@nih.gov, by the due date and time marked in this notice.
