- Sources Sought W81K00-20-Q-0238 This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought notice for the Regional Contracting Office � Central. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if possible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. The Small Business size standard is 750. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Regional Health Contracting Office � Central, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to provide annual various Cochlear Implants and Accessories. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately making information if it is proprietary in nature. In order for the Government to consider another source, the capability statement must identify the source�s ability to meet ALL the following requirements: All products must be FDA and TAA compliant. Must be indicated for use on patients 9 months of age and older. Must have sound processors that offer user control and direct streaming capabilities for both Apple and Android Smart Phones. Must provide a smart application for iPhone and Android smartphones that can control the sound processor and track critical user data including ""coil offs"" for pediatric patients. Must have sound processors that are IP57 rated for dirt and water protection. Must have swim proof water case rated at IP68. Must have sound processor that have a slim profile coil design to minimize projection. Must provide implants for sensorineural hearing loss as well frequency hearing loss Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparation or participation in this research.
