Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to NIKSUN�Inc. to expand current capacity on DTRA�s cyber assessment tools and allow greater functionality. The procurement will include NIKSUN security and storage appliances with 1-year Platinum Care package software upgrades and technical support for both. The Government contemplates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111, and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 5810. THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties have five (5) days from the date of publication of this notice to submit in writing to the identified point of contact clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilities. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Reponses received after five (5) days, with or without the required information, will be considered non-responsive to this notice and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the Government's discretion. The Government will not reimburse for any expense incurred to respond to this notice. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract will be awarded under the ""Other Than Full and Open Competition"" procedures, pursuant to 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) � 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. � 253(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. All inquiries must be submitted in writing to dtra.belvoir.al.mbx.fbo-notices@mail.mil and to the attention of Ms. Karen Ralston, Contract Specialist. Responses to this notice must be received by 9:00 AM EDT 9 September 2020. Responses must also include your business name, point of contact, address, and telephone number.
